Dojo Instructor

Prerequisites

• Minimum age of 18.
• Minimum rank of Brown belt with a working knowledge of the judo techniques included in the Judo Canada Kyu syllabus to be in training or trained. Minimum Rank for certification is Shodan.
• Complete the on-line “Nutrition for Judo Coaches” E-Learning module.
• A letter of recommendation from the sensei stating that the participant meets the technical requirements.
• Dojo Assistant Trained.

Dojo Instructor In Training

• Have completed the Dojo Instructor course (Integrated Technical and Theory).

Dojo Instructor Trained

• Have completed the Dojo Instructor workshop.
• Have completed the Make Ethical Decisions – Competition Introduction online evaluation.

Dojo Instructor Certified

• Have completed the Dojo Instructor workshop.
• Have completed the Make Ethical Decisions – Competition Introduction online evaluation.
• Have successfully completed coach portfolio.
• Have successfully completed Dojo Instructor evaluation.
• Minimum rank of Shodan

Or

• Are previously Level 2 Certified.
• Have completed the Make Ethical Decisions online evaluation for Competition-Introduction.
