Carla Van Zyl Earns a Gold Medal at the Panama Junior Panamerican Cup 2025 in Panama

Congratulations to Carla Van Zyl (Hart Judo Academy) on her gold medal at the Panama Junior Panamerican Cup 2025, in Panama last weekend, April 6, 2025.

Carla had a perfect day of 3 wins with 3 ippons to earn the gold medal. She beat opponents from Canada, Columbia and Peru. This is Carla’s second gold medal at a Junior Panamerican Cup, with her first gold medal at the Montreal Junior Panamercian Cup in November 2024, in Montreal. Carla currently ranks 8th in the world at the Junior level rankings.
