On January 1, 2014 the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) launched the Maintenance of Certification program, which requires certified coaches to obtain Professional Development (PD) points.
Coaches can now use the Maintenance of Certification webpage to login to the Locker and view an updated transcript with the number of professional development points needed, and the amount of time left to earn them. PD points can be earned through a multitude of activities including: national and provincial sport organization conferences and workshops, eLearning modules, NCCP workshops, coach mentorship programs, and active coaching.
