Thea, originally from Rossland, BC, completed a Bachelor of Human Kinetics at the University of British Columbia. For the past 8 years, she has been a member of the Women’s Canadian National Field Hockey Team, competing at Commonwealth Games, Pan American Games, and most recently winning Bronze at the Pan American Cup. She is the Female Athlete Representative on the Field Hockey Canada Board of Directors and has volunteered with organizations such as The Beauty Night Society, G. F. Strong, and AthletesCAN. Thea is excited to expand her knowledge of Karate and Judo and to apply her experience as an elite athlete to continue to better sport in Canada.
Thea will be working part time (40%) for Judo BC and part time (60%) for Karate BC starting on October 30th. Welcome Thea!
