It is with great sadness that we have been informed by Sensei Hennie Wilhelm, that Sensei Alex Mahler (son of Sensei Rudi Mahler) passed away on February 20th, 2013 from an apparent heart attack. Sensei Alex Mahler had taken over the North Delta Judo club along with Sensei Hennie when Sensei Rudi passed away. The date of Sensei Alex Mahler’s Celebration of Life has not yet been determined but will be forwarded to all once that date is established. Please pass this on to those who knew Sensei Alex and to those who were alumni of the North Delta Judo Club.
