Sunday, October 5, 2014 Ignacio Rodriguez competed in the European Judo Open – Lisbon placing 7th with 1 win by Ippon against Antonio Costa from Portugal, and two losses: against Jan Pinta from CZE (Bronze winner last year against Sherrington from GBR) and Diogo Silva POR who came in 5th.
Ignacio fought well, throwing both Pinta and Silva before losing to them due to experience.
His next tournament is in Bello Horizonte, Brazil for the Pan American Team Championships October 17 – 23. Congratulations Ignacio!
