Ignacio Rodriguez finished 3rd in the Pan American Open in San Salvador, El Salvador that were held June 27 & 28, 2015. There were 5 competitors, with three of his opponents ranked in the top 60 of the IJF ranking system. His loss was against the winner, Freddy Figueroa from Ecuador who is now ranked in the top 40.
