The shipment of judogis and sports equipment to Zimbabwe was finally released from the dock in Mozambique recently after being held up there for about 6 months.
This has enabled Pat Warren the Judo Zimbabwe Head coach to start several judo classes in orphanages in the area.
A huge thanks to the BC Judo Clubs that donated and a special thanks to Rick Gill and the Hoops for Hope organisation who allowed room and free shipping of all the judo gear. Rick is the parent of one of the judoka at Burnaby judo club.
